The English Club

To allow far flung members to continue to meet, we have Online Club nights.   

The next meeting will be Sunday 11 May, at 19:00. 

We usually meet every second Sunday, but the schedule might change, so check back here, or send an email, to find out when the future meetings will be.

The English Club welcomes vistors! The Open Day will start at 1 pm and no registration is required for new guests who would like to have a look at the place for the first time.

We provide text books and instruments (you can too, if you like) and everyone contributes fun and love of singing. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Come join us making Irish, Scottish and English traditional music (songs and ballads)!

The English Book Club gathers together to discuss a book, or poems, or something else literary. Old and new participants are welcome to join us.

The next meeting is going to be on 27 July at 7pm. We are discussing The Bee Sting by Paul Murray.

We had planned to have a 20s party at the Club to mark the start of the 2020s. Unfortunately 2020 wasn't a good year for parties. But it is still on the agenda, as soon as we can. Watch this space for updates.

Marianne continues to walk and talk you through the picturesque Battlement Park. We will explore many natural and cultural features and monuments of Bremen’s oldest park, the stunning inner-city oasis called Wallanlagen.

At the entrance of the Kunsthalle (Am Wall 207) 

The whole leisurely stroll will take approx. 1 - 2 hours and is for free. Donations for the English Club appreciated.
