Next meeting 20 August.

This is a group for everybody who wants to speak German in a relaxed atmosphere. Get more confidence, chat along, have a cup of tea. This is not a course, just a chance to practice your German. Everybody’s welcome.

Jonathan Mays and Katharina Bramkamp will be there for support.

Join us for an unforgettable evening with Tammie Norrie (Katharina's band), performing a great mix of Celtic folk songs, classic tunes and original compositions.

Stay with us after the concert and join for the cocktail party right afterward. If you would like to contribute to the buffet please bring something (fingerfood only!!).

We provide text books and instruments (you can too, if you like) and everyone contributes fun and love of singing. We are looking forward to seeing you!

The traditional starting point is the Marcusbrunnen in the Bürgerpark.

If you want a T-shirt printed with the logo, contact Thomas asap. You have to provide the shirt.

Important: You do not have to be a runner, you can also walk the distances (1,5km or 3km). And: You do your own pace!

The English Book Club gathers together to discuss a book, or poems, or something else literary. Old and new participants are welcome to join us.

We are planning our traditional Guy Fawkes fire on 6 November at the club (or rather outside in front of the house), starting at 7pm. Of course there will be potatoes and sausages, too – and in case of a downpour we can take shelter inside.

We hope to see you all joining in to burn the guy!
